System analyst, mathematician, candidate of technical sciences, Sergei Aleksandrovich Chetvertakov has been working with Maslow's theory of motivation for forty years, since the applicability of this theory in the social sciences, sociology and history has been detected. His samizdat work (1977) allowed to forecast the fundamental infeasibility of socialism and to reveal the mistake of Marx on a base of Maslow psychology. Other sociological and historical works of the author are presented on the website sergeychet.narod.ru, waiting to be published.

Annotation

The second edition of the book "Pitcher of Maslow – Psychology from Fear of Pain to Conscience" represents the foundations of general psychology based on the paradigm of adaptation. It gives new definitions of life, psyche, information, need, presents hypothesis of Human Origins – his will, consciousness, and language. States of fear of pain, creativity, and conscience are included in Maslow's hierarchy of needs, thus allowing the theory to be applied in social forecasting and history reconstruction. With inclusions of the innovations of the author (2002-2017), this theory has received the name MASLCHET that reflects its difference from the classical one.
